Fall for Something New
Even though summer is coming to an end, fall
always feels like such a great beginning.
Don’t get us wrong, summers are glorious
but it is often a busy, and perhaps a little
chaotic season and the coming of fall feels like
a perfect time to make a new start or mix up
your routine. Expand your horizons and do
something you’ve never done before. Studies
have shown that putting yourself in a new
situation or trying a new hobby is a great way
to shift your perspective and spark a new idea.
What new thing will you do this fall?
In this issue we have some new locales and
destinations that are sure to challenge your
mind. Have you ever done a wine tour by train?
Dennis Begin brings us an interesting story
on the Napa Valley and an exciting way to
experience wine country.
Why not try sleeping in a yurt this fall?
Read the story from Parkbridge Lifestyles and
see how yurts offer an amazing opportunity
for the perfect ‘glamping’ adventure. For those
that are used to staying in an RV, cabin or
cottage, yurts offer a unique chance to try out
a more rustic experience, but still remain wellsheltered
and comfortable.
We also bring you news from the National
Gallery of Canada. Be inspired by their latest
exhibitions including the Canadian and
Indigenous Art: From Time Immemorial to 1967,
featuring some of the best examples of art
made in Canada over the past ten centuries.
The National Gallery of Canada is home to the
most important collections of historical and
contemporary Canadian art.
Some other exciting destinations we’ve
included for fall are stories of mystery and
history. Why not travel back in time to see
Wyatt Earp (page 58) or visit the past which
lives and breathes at Fort Steele Heritage Town
(page 28)?
September is also an awesome time for
shopping for new items for the RV, and our
team has selected the best parts, accessories
and camping products to help you with those
decisions.
If you are travelling to the US this fall, read
how the rules should be changing soon to
allow Canadians to stay longer. This will give
RVers that much more time to see and try all
those items on your bucket list.
Trying new things is an essential part of
living life to the fullest. We hope this issue
inspires you to travel somewhere or try
