Fall for Something New<br />

Even though summer is coming to an end, fall<br />

always feels like such a great beginning.<br />

Don’t get us wrong, summers are glorious<br />

but it is often a busy, and perhaps a little<br />

chaotic season and the coming of fall feels like<br />

a perfect time to make a new start or mix up<br />

your routine. Expand your horizons and do<br />

something you’ve never done before. Studies<br />

have shown that putting yourself in a new<br />

situation or trying a new hobby is a great way<br />

to shift your perspective and spark a new idea.<br />

What new thing will you do this fall?<br />

In this issue we have some new locales and<br />

destinations that are sure to challenge your<br />

mind. Have you ever done a wine tour by train?<br />

Dennis Begin brings us an interesting story<br />

on the Napa Valley and an exciting way to<br />

experience wine country.<br />

Why not try sleeping in a yurt this fall?<br />

Read the story from Parkbridge Lifestyles and<br />

see how yurts offer an amazing opportunity<br />

for the perfect ‘glamping’ adventure. For those<br />

that are used to staying in an <strong>RV</strong>, cabin or<br />

cottage, yurts offer a unique chance to try out<br />

a more rustic experience, but still remain wellsheltered<br />

and comfortable.<br />

We also bring you news from the National<br />

Gallery of Canada. Be inspired by their latest<br />

exhibitions including the Canadian and<br />

Indigenous Art: From Time Immemorial to 1967,<br />

featuring some of the best examples of art<br />

made in Canada over the past ten centuries.<br />

The National Gallery of Canada is home to the<br />

most important collections of historical and<br />

contemporary Canadian art.<br />

Some other exciting destinations we’ve<br />

included for fall are stories of mystery and<br />

history. Why not travel back in time to see<br />

Wyatt Earp (page 58) or visit the past which<br />

lives and breathes at Fort Steele Heritage Town<br />

(page 28)?<br />

September is also an awesome time for<br />

shopping for new items for the <strong>RV</strong>, and our<br />

team has selected the best parts, accessories<br />

and camping products to help you with those<br />

decisions.<br />

If you are travelling to the US this fall, read<br />

how the rules should be changing soon to<br />

allow Canadians to stay longer. This will give<br />

<strong>RV</strong>ers that much more time to see and try all<br />

those items on your bucket list.<br />

Trying new things is an essential part of<br />

living life to the fullest. We hope this issue<br />

inspires you to travel somewhere or try<br />
