grotto. There will be space for 100 children to<br />
meet Father Christmas and although there will<br />
be no charge for visiting him, children have to<br />
be pre-registered to avoid disappointment.<br />
Last year we ran the ‘Light Up Wivelsfield - Best<br />
Dressed House’ competition and a householder<br />
in Farncombe Close won a bottle of Ridgeview<br />
when their house was judged by our secret<br />
judging panel to be the most festive. We will<br />
be running this competition again this year<br />
and there is no need to enter as all decorated<br />
houses will be included in the judging. our<br />
secret judging panel will wander the village<br />
during the week leading up to our event<br />
on Friday 16th December 2016, so please<br />
make sure your lights are turned on in the<br />
evenings this week! The winning house will be<br />
announced on the night of the event.<br />
This is a free event put on for the community by<br />
members of the community, however we will<br />
have donation buckets on the night, so if you<br />
like what we do, please give generously so that<br />
we can continue to run this as a free event in<br />
the future. All money raised goes to pay for the<br />
Father Christmas gifts for the following year.<br />
