quickly pleased to find a
clean, warm, bright environment. This
is not your typical strip mall sandwich
shop, Max cares about his product and
more importantly his customers.
“He[Max] actually answered the phone
the first time I called and every time
after that. I adore Max,” explains Angie,
who then said you should do a story on
his business. “No, really it’s amazing!”
This is exactly how I would describe
his business. I am no stranger to the
restaurant business. The grueling
repetitive nature can sap the energy
right out of you. That is why when Max’s
Deli and Catering suffered from a flood
late last year, Max Berkowitz owner,
took the forced opportunity to revamp
the whole place.
