This year this extreme competition will be attended
by: Alberto Rondina (Italian, four-time Italian
Champion and 2010 Freestyle European Champion),
Liam Merrick Whaley (English, 2015 Freestyle World
Champion), Keahi de Aboitiz (Australian, three-time
Wave World Champion), Luis Brito (Cape Verdean,
the only rider in the world capable of using two
kites flying simultaneously, strapless), Andrea Vicari
(Italian, three-time Junior Italian Champion and
Freestyle vice Italian Champion).
Everyday the athletes will be busy with a range of
activities including: Reggio Calabria - Punta Pellaro
downwind, Punta Pellaro - Reggio Calabria upwind,
Hang Time, long jump (Kiteloops Hell), team races
with SUP and Kitesailing, freestyle sessions,
hydrofoil Mini Camps and finally "under the kite
mood, night session". Furthermore, everyday the
program offers: Aperisunshine on the lawn of the
new sailing club & IKO Center NewKiteZone in
Punta Pellaro, dinners and & night parties at the
twinned Center Freespirit, Cabrinha 2018 collection
Test/Demo and much more.
So, everything is ready for this new challenge run at 40 knots hunting for
