SUMMER 2017 ISSUE 132 Yes! It’s nearly that time of year again! Church Garden Party Saturday 15th July 2017 We have raffle tickets to sell for a Grand Raffle to be drawn on the day. They are available at the back of the church. If you are able to take any to sell we would be most grateful. First prize is £100 followed by lots of excellent prizes that have been donated by members of our congregation. We are looking for helpers on the day. If you are able to help in anyway, please let members of the fundraising Group know. We would be most grateful. Help can be in any form – helping to move chairs, tables from church rooms, running a stall or a game, advertising the day, displaying a poster, delivering leaflets to local homes, or donating many of the things needed for the stalls. The stalls will be looking for the following items. • Gift Bag Surprises – good quality gift bags and/or prizes to go inside them. – Liz • Cakes and biscuits – on the day please! • Books – Tony or Chris • Good quality children’s toys – Marcus /Lesley • Bottles – full please, for the bottle stall! - Jenny/ Janet • Children’s prizes - Sheila • Plants – on the day please! • These can be left at the back of church or given to the stall holders If you would like to run another stall which we don’t presently have please let us know. The nearest can be contacted on 01673 828 154 Cost £4 for up to a 10 mile round trip - thereafter, 40p per mile. Hours Monday to Thursday 10.00am - 4.00pm Friday 10.00am - 1.00pm !14
