October 7 by H. E. Shaikh Hisham bin
Abdul-Rahman Al Khalifa, Governor of
the Capital Governorate.
The Clinic, which is sponsored by
Batelco, is opened each year during the
period of Muharram to attend to the
health needs of those participating in
the commemoration of Ashoora.
Batelco’s Senior Manager Corporate
Affairs Osama Alsaad, who attended
and Durrat Al Bahrain’s CEO Eng.
Mahmood Abdul Rahman during a
recent meeting at Batelco’s Hamala
headquarters. Key officials from both
organizations attended.
The launch of Batelco’s Super fast
Fibre services for Durrat Al Bahrain is
part of Batelco’s network expansion
plans to deliver super-fast Internet
services all over the Kingdom.
Al Hashemi stated that Batelco was
delighted to enter into the partnership
with Durrat Al Bahrain management in
order to enable the delivery of Batelco’s
extensive portfolio of services for
residents of this unique residential
location.
“We have been investing
continuously over recent years to
expand our Fibre network into new
developments throughout the Kingdom,”
she said.
Al Hashemi added, “We are very
pleased with the progress made so far
and also with the enthusiastic response
from customers who have subscribed for
the Fibre services.”
the opening, said that Batelco is very
pleased to support the Imam Hussain
clinic on an annual basis.
“The clinic annually tends to a large
number of minor and major medical
issues that arise during the key religious
events taking place in the Manama
area. It is vitally important to have such
a facility in this location as due to the
large crowds it is difficult to get access
to the Health Centres or hospitals,” he
said.
