MNA Staff<br />

Teresa Malone, Executive Director<br />

Teresa Malone is the chief executive officer of the association. She is the liaison with the MNA Board<br />

and is responsible for carrying out the goals and objectives of the association, for management of the<br />

organization and for representing the association with other organizations, public officials, the media,<br />

and the public. She is responsible for hiring and managing a staff to carry out the work of the association.<br />

Executive Assistant<br />

The Executive Assistant is the assistant to the Executive Director, he/she monitors legislative issues that<br />

pertain to health affairs and circulates legislative updates and political mail-outs, he/she also prepares<br />

for Board meetings, special events, and assists with other executive functions. The Executive Assistant<br />

assists with the management of the office information systems, and is responsible for disseminating new<br />

membership packets, membership renewals, and continuing education activities.<br />

Dana Walker, Director of Events and Marketing<br />

Dana is responsible for planning and organizing special events and continuing education activities.<br />

She is the point of contact for questions regarding program and workshop schedules, CE contact hours,<br />

event registration or to become a speaker for continuing education programs. She is also responsible<br />

for coordinating news releases and media relations. Dana supports the activities of the Council on<br />

Nursing Education, the MNA Provider Unit, the Council on Organizational Affairs, and the Council on<br />

Nursing Practice.<br />

Deborah Norman, Finance Administrator / Membership Coordinator<br />

Deborah is responsible for all financial transactions including payment for membership dues, special<br />

events, and continuing education activities. She is also the Membership Coordinator and is the point<br />

of contact for any membership questions, changes, renewals, updates, etc. Deborah also supports the<br />

District Presidents with current membership information for each district.<br />

Dionne Inman, Advanced Practice Coordinator / Publishing Coordinator<br />

Dionne is responsible for working with the Director of the Council on Advanced Practice Nursing<br />

to support activities relating to Nurse Practitioners. Dionne is editor of the quarterly newspaper<br />

The <strong>Mississippi</strong> RN and creates the E-newsletter—Members Only. She also creates the convention<br />

& conference preview guides, books, brochures, district emails, and uploads information to the<br />

MNA website and Mobile App. She is the site administrator for the Cisco Webex Event Center<br />

and APRN Practice Owned webinars.<br />
