ORIENTATION OF RESULTS & ACTIVITIES
To attain UPCMP objectives, some good results have been identified. These results specifically relate to the activities carried out under the project and can
be stated in the following manner:

Strengthened capacities of women’s
institutions and individuals to
mobilize rural communities and
its resources to adopt preventative
health practices.
Under this result, various capacity
building trainings and knowledge
transfer activities are carried out
in addition to continued SHG
formation and nurturing.
Increased awareness and knowledge
about RMNCH behaviors and
increased capacity to demand quality
health services and
improved access.
Under this result, various BCC,
awareness-raising and mobilization
activities were carried out in addition
to important linkages with supply
side interventions.
Enhanced coordination,
collaboration and information
exchange for the sustainability of
BCC activities through consultative
and participatory processes and
advice networks for support.
Under this result, the coordination
with community stakeholders,
women’s institutions and local
health care workers are carried out.
Selected community volunteers
assisted in collecting and measuring
outcomes related to knowledge
and practices among the target
population.
Under this result, two rounds of
community-managed Lots Quality
Assurance Sampling (LQAS) was
implemented to track and improve
the quality of the process.
