Lincoln Drill Hall
f, fi, fo, fum, i sme christmas panto fun!
This Christmas, Lincoln Drill Hall celebrates ten
years of panto with its most incredible festive
spectacular yet - Jack & The Beanstalk!
The venue first embarked on
its magical panto journey in
2007, beginning its partnership
with Jamie Marcus Productions
with a stunning adaptation
of Cinderella. Since then the
Drill Hall panto has become
a firm festive city tradition,
with productions of Aladdin,
Sleeping Beauty, Dick
Whittington, Snow White and
Peter Pan wowing audiences.
Each year has been bigger than
the last, with last year’s Beauty
& The Beast smashing audience
records, playing to over 14,500
people.
This year’s production of Jack
& The Beanstalk is additionally
special as it’s the Drill Hall’s
10th panto, so expect some
spectacular surprises to
celebrate this landmark.
Back by popular demand
is James Campbell as the
outrageous Dame Dotty Trott.
She’s the mother of our hero
Jack and his brother Silly Simon
and they haven’t a bean to their
name – and now their loveable
cow Daisy has dried up! And
if that wasn’t bad enough, the
village is being menaced by
the giant Blunderbore - and his
wicked henchman Fleshcreep
has captured the beautiful
Princess Zena. But this is one
princess who can take care
of herself, so come along and
follow Jack up the beanstalk to
find out who saves the day!
With a host of crazy characters,
stunning costumes, spectacular
sets and special effects,
including a 12ft giant, hilarious
song and dance routines, more
jokes than a bag full of magic
beans, plus, of course, plenty
of audience participation, this
is one madcap adventure your
family won’t want to miss!
Christmas wouldn’t be
Christmas without the Drill Hall
panto and it’s never too early to
book!
Jack and the Beanstalk runs
from Tuesday 5 December to
Tuesday 2 January.
Tickets are £18, £13
concessions and a £56 family
of 4 ticket.
