It’s a magical time of year and across Lincoln you’ll<br />
be spoilt for choice with family events, activities and<br />
workshops – plus the chance to meet Santa before<br />
the big day. Hop onto VisitLincoln.com/Christmas<br />
to see everything that’s taking place.<br />
The crowning glory is Lincoln’s Christmas Market<br />
(7-10 December), and there’s lots more to make<br />
your Christmas magical:<br />
Save the date for the Lincoln ‘Christmas Lights<br />
Switch On’ (17 November at 5pm) and head to<br />
City Square for a family wonderland with children’s<br />
rides, singing princesses, a big screen and food and<br />
drink. See Santa’s reindeer at St Marks Shopping<br />
Centre (23 November) before they start the Reindeer<br />
Parade. Carry paper lanterns down Steep Hill and<br />
onto the light show on City Square (14 December<br />
5pm). Thousands of Santas will be dashing around<br />
the Cathedral Quarter for the annual ‘Santa Fun Run’<br />
(17 December). Look out for the new Festive Theatre<br />
Live too! (30 November).<br />
Don’t forget to look at the free car parking offers<br />
across the city and late night shopping times too<br />
