gourmet takeaway; the 12 Treasures Turkey. Introduced by the hotel’s Master Chef<br />

Goh Chee Kong, this splendid bird is marinated overnight using a Chinese recipe of soy<br />

sauce, Shaoxing wine and other ingredients before it is stuffed and baked. The palatial<br />

“12 Treasures” refer to roast pork, shiitake mushrooms, water chestnuts, conch, Euryale<br />

seeds, potatoes, lotus seeds and salted egg yolk that accompany the golden-brown<br />

turkey. Another home-bound delicacy is the Around the World in ‘Turkey’ Days that let<br />

you discover the diversity of turkey dishes in Korea, Japan, Middle East and the UK.<br />

Their eye-catching dessert, Silent Night Sphere, is a white chocolate orb in<br />

midnight-blue colour that melts by pouring warm chocolate over it. Designed by Chef<br />

Joe Tan, the artistic treat discloses macarons, gummy bears, marshmallows and dried<br />

cranberries that both adults and children will enjoy. Lastly, an Asian twist Christmas<br />

feast is perfected in favour of Goodwood’s renowned ‘Mao Shan Wang’ Durian<br />

Christmas Log Cake that ends the meal with a flavoursome bang.<br />
