EDITOR’s note<br />
It is hard to believe that <strong>2017</strong> is coming to a close. I hope you<br />
readers got some holiday time this year even if its just a short<br />
trip. Personally, my passport got stamped too many times to<br />
count in <strong>2017</strong> and I’ve learned to embrace the outdoor through<br />
all the hikes I went to this year. I already have a bunch of ideas<br />
for 2018 which I look forward to exploring, writing and sharing<br />
with you lot.<br />
So our last issue of the year has some Christmas-related<br />
articles where we found some of the best festive feasts for you<br />
to enjoy around Asia. That delicious spread is on page 32.<br />
Plus the end of the year would not be complete without<br />
a New Year destination. We are recommending the crowned<br />
luxury island of Langkawi where people go on sunset cruises<br />
and hike deep into the forest that is most probably tinge with<br />
some myth or legend. See the beachside pictures on page 18.<br />
May you enjoy the last bits of <strong>2017</strong> and take the time to<br />
reflect on everything that happened this past year. Whether<br />
you follow that <strong>2017</strong> resolution or not, I’m a firm believer in<br />
personal growth. If you see even a little bit of that, then that<br />
should be good enough.<br />
Before I end, I hope you enjoy our Christmas wrapping<br />
paper that you can customise by colouring it in. It’s great for<br />
your kids to bring forth their inner Picasso! Plus if you are<br />
travelling with AirAsia, we hope you utilise the voucher when<br />
shopping on board.<br />
