On Saturday 14 th October, the team of
twelve (past and present) staff from The
Cotswold School braved the chilly waters
of Sanford Parks Lido, to raise
money for Macmillan. They were raising
funds to help families like Mr & Mrs
Smith come to terms with childhood
Leukemia. Each teacher swam 25 lengths
of the 23 degree pool to reach 15km. It
was an emotional morning with an incredible
amount of support from friends
and family. Benjamin (Mr & Mrs Smith’s
son) was there to cheer on his Mummy
and her 12 friends. They would like to
take this opportunity to thank everybody
who donated and supported the
team, raising over £6,650—not including
Gift Aid!
