north-west put on their design hats for a<br />
Legomania Day. The team from House of<br />
Bricks visited the Rangiora programme with<br />
more than 100,000 Lego pieces. Children<br />
were given challenges and themes to<br />
create their own masterpieces, which<br />
included landscapes, mosaics and racing a<br />
Lego car.<br />

PROMOTING THE GAME: Johnny McNicholl and other<br />
Canterbury rugby players got out into the community<br />
to promote the Take a Kid to Footy programme. They<br />
packed groceries at Fresh Choice Merivale, posed for a<br />
few photos and even gave out a bit of advice to up and<br />
coming players. Canterbury’s next match is against North<br />
Harbour at AMI Stadium on Friday at 7.35pm. It will be the<br />
first defence of the Ranfurly Shield, which they recently<br />
took from Waikato.<br />
