learning opportunities across the city.<br />

Risingholme’s strong focus on language<br />

development continues with a wide range<br />

of languages courses at a variety of levels<br />

– ESOL, German, Italian, Russian, Sign<br />

Language, Spanish and Te Reo Maori.<br />

Risingholme’s traditional base of art and<br />

craft courses continues to flourish with a<br />

full range available at a number of venues.<br />

They include fabrics, woodwork skills, cake<br />

decorating, health & fitness and well-being,<br />

computing, guitar and photography, as well<br />

as many others. Due to popular demand we<br />

have added another Upholstery course and<br />

a one day course, Saturday 22nd <strong>October</strong>,<br />

“Tracing Your Family History” to coincide<br />

with Heritage Week.<br />

As the weather gets warmer and the<br />

evenings get longer it is the ideal time to<br />

get out of the house and learn something<br />

new and meet some new people by<br />

taking part in one of the wide range of<br />

nightclasses on offer at Papanui High<br />

School for Term 4 beginning week of 17<br />

<strong>October</strong>.<br />

From Art to Yoga and everything in<br />

between we are sure regardless of your<br />

age or interest you will find something<br />

to tempt you. Classes at Papanui High<br />

School are held in a warm, friendly<br />

relaxed environment and our tutors are<br />

supportive and well qualified in their<br />

chosen fields.<br />

WORKERS EDUCATION ASSOCIATION<br />

Roopu Kaimahi Matauranga O Waitaha<br />

One of our new courses on<br />

offer for Term 4 is Tribal Belly<br />

Dancing. This course will cater<br />

for all ages from young adults<br />

to retirees. No previous dance<br />

experience necessary and suitable<br />

for all fitness levels and abilities.<br />

Come along and improve your<br />

confidence, creativity and self<br />

expression while having some<br />

fun! Class begins Monday 17<br />
