Tropicana City Mall (TCM) celebrated the Hari Raya<br />

festivities with a three week-long event themed around<br />

the traditional lifestyle and art of Malay culture. In collaboration<br />

with Kraftangan Malaysia, TCM featured 20<br />

booths that offered exclusive merchandise ranging from<br />

batik apparel and traditional attire with matching accessories<br />

to Malay delicacies. <strong>The</strong>re were also various traditional<br />

arts and craft workshops such as batik painting,<br />

pottery making and rattan/mengkuang leaf weaving held<br />

every weekend. Adding a little challenge, a batik painting<br />

competition was held on 27 July and 4 August for<br />

children aged five to 12. Apart from that, the first ten<br />

shoppers who spent a minimum of RM300 in three<br />

accumulated receipts on the same day got to redeem a<br />

limited edition TCM Hari Raya Touch ‘n Go card with<br />

a pre-loaded value of RM10 and a pack of Raya packets,<br />

while shoppers who spent RM100 in two accumulated<br />

receipts on the same day received limited edition ‘Aidilfitri<br />

at Tropicana City Mall’ Raya packets. of their service.<br />
