Note. The principal variations <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Chaldee</strong>, from <strong>the</strong> mode <strong>of</strong><br />

forming <strong>the</strong> persons in Hebrew, are, that, in <strong>the</strong> former, <strong>the</strong> 2d p. sing.<br />

Praet. haa, generally, no distinction <strong>of</strong> gender, while <strong>the</strong> 3d p. plur. has ;<br />

and that <strong>the</strong> 3. plur. fern. Fnt. takes 9 instead <strong>of</strong> n for its preformative.<br />

.The dormarivea <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Future (e. g. f ?) are capable <strong>of</strong> an easier ex-<br />

flanation than in Hebrew. .<br />

let. conj. n! ; e. g. TQpn? 1 Sam. 123: 7 ; and this agrees with <strong>the</strong> Rh biiical conj. NithpaBl, 1n <strong>the</strong> Inf. <strong>of</strong> all <strong>the</strong> conj. nn; as #?z??n<br />
