The use <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> simple Accusative or Dative, <strong>of</strong> two<br />
accusatives, and <strong>of</strong> verbs with prepositions, may be<br />
learned from <strong>the</strong> Hebrew analogy. Comp. Heb. Gr.<br />

In <strong>Chaldee</strong>, as id~ebrew (comp. Heb. Gr. 8 5331,<br />
two verbs are <strong>of</strong>ten so connected that one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>m may<br />
be best translated by an adverb. The verbs most<br />
commonly so. employed are n 9 ~ to 7 add, ~ for again,<br />
mwe ; 39~7s to make good, for well; p7p to precede,<br />
for bcfme ;' 2lm to return, for again; rn7bie& hasten, for<br />
quickly; e. g. arys2 ns y ~ n~m, l IS& digged again<br />
