Canty ace under-14 tennis title<br />
Canterbury have been crowned national under-14 tennis<br />
champions after winning the teams event in Auckland on<br />
Sunday. The Canterbury team of Reece Falck (left), Liam<br />
Adams, Nick Schneideman, Edwin Dargue, Jade Otway,<br />
Farrah Richards, Abby Mason and Kyla Otway was coached<br />
by Andrew Falck. They completed the four-day campaign at<br />
the Scarbro Tennis Centre with a hard fought 5-4 win over<br />
Auckland the final. Falck and Adams also grabbed individual<br />
titles. Falck took out the under-14 singles title, while Adams<br />
teamed up with Queenstown’s Thomas Hartono to win the<br />
doubles. Canterbury also finished fourth in the under-12<br />
teams event and third in the under-16 event under the<br />
guidance of coach James Meredith.<br />
