GROWTH: Halswell Quarry Park planting days aim to restore native wetland species at the park.<br />

Volunteer and have fun with friends and family while doing something good for the environment.<br />

There will be a location map outside the single-story stone cottage, which is on the main<br />

driveway off Kennedys Bush Rd. Here you will find directions to the day’s planting site. Bring<br />

clothes for all weather, including a sun hat, warm coat, gumboots and gloves. The event will be<br />

held at Halswell Quarry Park, Kennedys Bush Rd on Saturday, <strong>September</strong> 24 from 10am-noon.<br />
