GROWTH: Halswell Quarry Park planting days aim to restore native wetland species at the park.
Volunteer and have fun with friends and family while doing something good for the environment.
There will be a location map outside the single-story stone cottage, which is on the main
driveway off Kennedys Bush Rd. Here you will find directions to the day’s planting site. Bring
clothes for all weather, including a sun hat, warm coat, gumboots and gloves. The event will be
held at Halswell Quarry Park, Kennedys Bush Rd on Saturday, September 24 from 10am-noon.
