The art shows the talent from Philip Beadle, Pamela Hueston and Vicki Knudsen. All of the Canterbury artists use paint to express their art. Free entry Colour Incorporated Wednesday-Sunday, 10am- 4pm Catch the end of this exhibition from the Liffey Gallery. Art from Justine de Spa will be on display along with pieces from Heather Jonson and Ngaire Van Grondelle showcasing their talent through paint, photography and clay. Free entry Olivier Lattion Piano Saturday, August 13, 7.30pm Nut Point Centre presents new musicians and performances for their musical seasons. This performance will showcase work from pianist and composer Olivier Lattion. Composer Chris Cree Brown will also be presenting his own work. A light supper is included in the ticket price. STUDENTS IN SPOTLIGHT: Lincoln High School students’ art is the focus of the latest exhibition at the Liffey Gallery. The students express their art in a variety of ways, Yashar Sholepak used photography while others have used paint, charcoal and more to create their art. This exhibition will run for two weeks starting August 3 and will be followed by an exhibition from Darfield High School students. Entry to the Liffey Gallery at 1 James St in Lincoln is always free and open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10am-4pm. Nut Point Centre, 703 Old West Coast Rd. Tickets $25 Romantic World of Music Saturday, 7.30pm This concert will showcase music from Valeriy Maksymov and Victoria Lee playing the violin, Natalia Chernousova on the flute and piano accompanist Iryna Maksymova. Take yourself to listen to the classical stylings of the artists. The concert ticket includes a light supper after the performance. Nut Point Centre, 703 Old West Coast Rd. Tickets $25 Guest Speaker Monday, 7pm Architect Bob Burnett, will discuss his work and focus on his sustainable house designs and discuss his 10-star environmental and energy saving homes.
