The best care for your pet
If you have a dog who is at home all day
while you are at work, it can lead to them
being bored, lonely and even destructive.
Having a place where you can take your
dog – where it can socialise, play and even
swim, means your dog is kept engaged,
stimulated and comes home happy and
tired.
At Bunny Lodge Doggy Day Care many
dogs visit regularly – some for just a day or
two or others for the whole working week.
This provides the dogs with the physical
and mental stimulation, plus company,
that they love and crave while you are out
working all day.
It can prevent the holes dug in the
vegetable garden, chewed irrigation lines,
or reports of barking that sometimes greet
you with a guiltily wagging tail.
The dogs get to participate in all the fun
–– they get to run and play in acres of green
grass and trees, plus their very own large
swimming pool to frolic in. Doing what
dogs like to do in the fresh air! Each dog
also has his or her own unit, with a bed, for
rest periods during the day.
If you start work early don’t worry, here
you can drop off your dog with access
through the pin-code entry point and you
can place your dog in one of the units.
Bunny Lodge Doggy Day Care
is owned by Stephen and Justine
and is part of the whole Bunny
Lodge business situated at 540
Jones Road. This is the largest
boarding kennels and cattery in the
South Island. They can also look
after birds and rabbits while you
are away on holiday.
With five full-time staff employed
as well as additional contractors
who come in during busy periods,
you can be satisfied in the knowledge
your pet will be well cared for
whether it is there for a day visit or
for an extended period of time.
They also do emergency care, so if
you unexpectedly need to leave your
pet, they can make provision for your
dog or cat to stay you can drop them
at the 24/7 monitored drop point.
Bunny Lodge is open Monday to
Friday 8am to 10.30am and 3.30pm to
6pm, Saturday 9am to 12pm and Sunday
8am to 10.30am and 3.30pm to 6pm. for
drop offs and pick ups . Outside of these
hours is by appointment only.
