New Head Chef Craig Neal<br />
Craig Neal is the new Head Chef at<br />
TRENCHES. He comes to us with a great<br />
background here in New Zealand and<br />
overseas.<br />
Executive Sous Chef at <strong>The</strong> George Hotel<br />
for 4 years, Executive Chef for the start-up<br />
of the Hotel Montreal and then Manager<br />
of Burgers and Beers and Dragon’s Den<br />
Social Lounge, Craig is breathing new life<br />
into our restaurant and bar menus as well<br />
as revamping our function and conference<br />
menus.<br />
“I’m pretty excited by the move to Trenches. <strong>The</strong> restaurant and bar<br />
already have a great reputation and it is obviously one of the best<br />
and most versatile function venues in Christchurch.”<br />
“My job is to build on what we have. Sure, there will be changes - I’m<br />
the “new broom“ so I’m busy updating all of the menus, introducing<br />
more options for function food and making sure that our quality<br />
stays right up there.”<br />

you name it, we<br />
can almost certainly<br />
handle it. With<br />
three function<br />
rooms upstairs (we have a lift), all<br />
equipped with high-tech audio visual<br />
gear and seated capacities from 20 to<br />
120— more if it’s a stand-up do, we are<br />
a popular venue for commercial and<br />
private functions.<br />
And if you want to bring in 600 of your<br />
team for a staff party, we know that we<br />
can handle it—we have done for one<br />
customer for the last three years..<br />
And of course our Chef and Bar team<br />
will take care of all your food and<br />
beverage needs.<br />
