SnowbirdsRVTravelers
Reader Leo Gebert was inspired by Snowbirds & RV Travelers to drive to Arizona via Moab and
Monument Valley, Utah. Pictured is the Landscaping Arch in Arches National Park.
The end of winter is in our sights and we hope
you’ve had some grand adventures over the
colder months. If you’ve been hibernating
a little (I will guiltily raise my hand to join
you) then spring is a perfect time to rejoin the
world of RVing. With the days getting longer
and the temperatures getting warmer, spring
is the ideal season to get out and make some
new connections. RVing is a great way to build
your community, whether it is joining a new
club, attending an RV event, visiting a new
campground or searching on social media;
RVing can bring people together.
In this issue of Snowbirds and RV Travelers,
you can read how our publisher and editorin-chief
viewed some exciting new RV’s at
the RVIA (Recreational Vehicle Industry
Association) Show in Louisville, Kentucky.
At the show, the top RV manufacturers
gathered to show RV dealers their new models
and product lines - finally unveiling the
innovative features and design trends that will
shape your RV purchase decisions in 2018.
If you need a little motivation to get ready
for the season we have a Product Showcase full
of ideas, Travel Tips on Booking Now for Spring
RVing and an article on how to Get Your RV
Water System Ready For Spring.
If you’re looking for some new destinations,
why not try touring in Prince Edward
County (page 16), riding the train in Vancouver
(page 34), biking in Napa Valley (page
46) or RVing in Arizona (page 52)?
Another great way to make a connection
is to sit outside and talk to your neighbours.
Create a new outdoor space using our How
to Install a Patio Room instructions. If you
invite a new friend to help you with the
setup, you will definitely kill two birds with
one stone.
We’d love to hear about your spring
travels or your new connections.
