Feedback from customers indicates it should be accessible for an upper middle school audience, where genetics is included in the Next Gen Science Standards for 8 th grade, yet broad enough in topical coverage to assist high schoolers grappling with genetics coursework. Coverage will also be expanded by offering a thorough presentation of genetics in the 21 st century, highlighting hot topics such as touch DNA. Color photos, charts, and graphs will display the content in an engaging manner.
