Respondent Demographics<br />

Between the last week of September and the first week of October, <strong>2017</strong>, a randomly selected group of 5,000 C-<br />

Level executives selected from different organizations across 113 countries were invited to participate in the<br />

<strong>Global</strong> <strong>Business</strong> <strong>Confidence</strong> <strong>Survey</strong>.<br />

The top 10 countries represented by response rate are as follows: United States of America (40.44%), Canada<br />

(9.59%), United Kingdom (8.35%), Australia (7.99%), India (4.03%), Jordan (3.97%), Romania (2.72%), Pakistan<br />

(2.61%), Nepal (2.25%) and Malaysia (1.95%).<br />

A total of 1,689 executives representing organizations in 72 countries successfully completed the survey.<br />

Aside from the top 10 countries detailed above, responses were also received from organizations in: Albania,<br />

Argentina, Austria, Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Burundi, Cameroon, China (includes<br />

Hong Kong), Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominica, the Dominican Republic, Egypt,<br />

Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Kenya, Kuwait,<br />

Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Mexico, Myanmar, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Panama, Peru,<br />

Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka,<br />

Switzerland, Tanzania, Tunisia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam & Zambia.<br />
