at <strong>KNSS</strong> admin office Sheshadripuram, Bangalore.<br />
EC evaluated the progress of Benevolent Fund raffle ticket<br />
and requested all members to raise the fund in an aggressive<br />
way.<br />

Mannam Jayanthi: Karayogam celebrated Mannam<br />
Jayanthi on 2nd <strong>January</strong> <strong>2018</strong>. President Sri. T.KK Nair,<br />
Secretary Adv. Rajmohan S, Board Member Sri. K. G<br />
Shankar, Sri. G. K Kurup, Sri P.S Nair, Mahailavibhagam<br />
President Smt. Thankam K Nair, Vice President Smt. Girija<br />
Nair, Smt. Sangeetha Nair and other Mahila Vibhagam<br />
EC members, Sri. Ramankutty, Sri. Venugopal, Sri.<br />
Keshavamenon, Sri. Charababu, Sri. Murali and other<br />
EC members, Youth wing members, Balajana sangham<br />
members were present.<br />
EC discussed and decided to conduct Malayalam and<br />
Kannada Classes for EC members and their family members.<br />
Secretary will co-ordinate in this regard. The EC discuss<br />
the action taken for financial assistance for a member in<br />
distress. The meeting was concluded with vote of thanks<br />
by Sri. Keshavamenon.<br />

VIMANAPURA<br />
The Executive Committee meeting of the Karayogam<br />
was held at 4:30 PM on 7th <strong>January</strong>’<strong>2018</strong> at Karayogam<br />
Office (MMH). The meeting was presided over by the Vice<br />
President Shri. O.Peethambaran which commenced with<br />
prayer followed by Acharya Vandanam.<br />
Condolences: The house observed one minute silent prayer<br />
in respect of the departed souls of: a) Smt. Parukutty Amma<br />
Aged 93 Years – Mother In Law of Shri. E.Viswanathan<br />
S A R<br />
Nair. b) Shri. Appa Nambiar Aged 94 Years – Father of<br />
Shri. P.Premadasan – Karayogam President<br />
In the welcome speech, the Vice President greeted all the<br />
members with New Year Wishes. He also expressed his<br />
happiness towards the active participation of the committee<br />
members & Karayogam Members during Mannam Jayanthi<br />
& Thiruvathira Celebration. Secretary Mr. P.N.Ramesh<br />
Kumar presented the minutes and the same was approved<br />
by the committee. The Committee appreciated Jayadhara for<br />
their initiative for donating Rs.10, 000/- to Karunashraya.<br />
The Committee also thanked Shri. Madhavan Unnithan, who<br />
donated seven books to the Karayogam library on 7.1.<strong>2018</strong>.<br />
Mannam Memorial Hall: Shri. Lakshmanan briefed MMH<br />
matters. He updated about the minor electrical repairs done<br />
in the hall. The committee approved procurement of a<br />
suitable stand to place the newly unveiled statue of Shri.<br />
Mannathu Padmanabhan.<br />
Malayalam Class: The Malayalam class is going on<br />
successfully. Smt. Vidya Rajan is managing the class very<br />
well. She requested to increase the number of students.<br />
The classes will be taken every Sunday at MMH between<br />
3PM to 4PM.<br />
Library: Shri. K.R.Vijayan, the Library Convenor updated<br />
the library details. A register is prepared with all available<br />
books and the library is now open. The committee decided<br />
to operate the library every Sunday from 3:30PM to 4:30PM.<br />
Mannam Jayanthi: The 141th Birth Anniversary of Bharath<br />
Kesari Mannathu Padmanabhan was celebrated at our<br />
MMH Hall. Vice President Shri. O.Peethambaran lighted<br />
the lamp & inaugurated the celebration. Function was live<br />
with speeches by the Vice President, Senior Members and<br />
Prasadam distribution.<br />
Thiruvathira Celebration: Jayadhara celebrated<br />
Thiruvathira at 6 PM on 1.1.<strong>2018</strong> at Karayogam hall with<br />
various programs like Thiruvathira kali and Kaikotti Kali.<br />
Thiruvathira special dishes like ‘ettangaadi’, arrowroot<br />
pudding etc were served. Lot of people attended the function<br />
National Youth Day: Karayogam Youth wing Yuvadhara<br />
decided to celebrate National Youth Day on 12th<br />
