Exciting times at The Old Talbot
Refurbishment at The Old Talbot is underway and the
team is looking forward to exciting times ahead.
The make-over began with a new lighting scheme to
show off the pub’s traditional features and improve
the ambience and safety for guests, inside and
out. Colourful floral displays will soon enhance this
beautiful coaching inn, promising warmer days and
relaxing times in the family-friendly garden. Live music
events will also return.
The impressive refurbishment includes an upstairs
restoration that will offer bed and breakfast to
business visitors and guests of local residents.
As the up-grade to the restaurant continues the menu
is also evolving, with - tempting favourites joined by
many new dishes. The freshly cooked, locally-sourced
menu offers options for gluten- and dairy-free diets,
vegetarians and vegans, while meat and fish eaters
will be just as tempted. The dining experience will
be complemented by the new table cloths, cotton
napkins and calming atmosphere. At the bar, you can
select from local and continental beers and lagers,
wines, spirits and a choice of soft drinks.
