Most people in Jeffrey’s Bay noticed all the activities in Ocean View at the Kings College primary
School the past week or so! In January, Victory4All started building the second phase of their
massive building project.
This phase will be a mirror image of the first phase. Phase three will be the admin block, extra
classrooms and the movie house. The forth phase will be the indoor sport hall / school hall at the back
of the school.
Last week 7 handymen from the Netherlands arrived in Jeffrey’s Bay for 12 days! They came with the
mandate to bless the newly built primary school King’s College with two watchtowers and some
playgrounds for the children.
For 6 months, they raised the needed funds to buy their flight tickets as well as all the materials for the
playgrounds etc.
The 7 men Jacob Vooys, Arie de Mol, Dirk van der Laar, Simon Wind, Ruud Briegoos, Gijs Bakker, and
Gertjan van den Oever were assisted by the two maintenance people Arie Strootman and Dirk in’t Veld
from V4All.
Three other Dutch people, Derk Oosterveld, Tim Bakker, and Laura Kaasenbrood helped with the
marketing and fundraising of this project.
The Victory4All project in Jeffrey’s Bay was founded on May 1, 2003
by Johan and Astrid Vos from the Netherlands – nearly 15 years
ago. From day one, Johan & Astrid promoted V4All projects
through the whole of the Netherlands. Now, 15 years later,
it is a well-known name in the Netherlands and
hundreds of private people as well as businesses
support and pray for this project.
