with ‘Afrobeats’
BUDDING GHANAIAN Afro- Pop and
dancehall artiste, Kelvin Boy, born Kelvin
Brown has dropped a new tune dubbed
‘Afrobeats’.
The young artiste’s passion for music
begun at an early age where he started
singing and performing in churches. He is
currently signed on BHIM Nation’s management
and has two singles to his credit with
‘Afrobeats’ as his third song.
Kelvin Boy has unique musical style derived
from his desire to sing and compose
lyrics with everything happening around him.
His soulful side, which he adopted from regularly
singing in church, makes his sound
very melodic.
According to him, he hopes to develop
his music career around these various genres;
afro-beats, afro-pop, reggae, dancehall and
highlife. He plans to study and create his
own unique sound out of what he had
learned from these amazing music genres.
He is inspired by legendary artistes such
as Fela Kuti, Bob Marley and Stonebwoy and
looks to soar higher in his music career just
like his predecessors.

has fulfilled his promise to
dine with top Ghanaian
artistes on his 41st birthday.
Bola Ray, who on Thursday
evening had a birthday
party at the Polo Club
Restaurant in Accra, expressed
gratitude to all the
big names in the music industry
and well wishers for
the support over the years.
Artistes who were present
at the event included
Joe Mettle, OJ, Ohemaa
Mercy, Jeshurun Okyere,
SP Kofi Sarpong and
Samini.
Others were Kuami
Eugene, MzVee, Efya,
E.L, Kidi, Gyedu Blay
Ambolley, Rex Omar, DJ
Vyrusky and Bice Osei
Kuffour (Obour), who is
the President of the Musicians
Union of Ghana..
Maame Serwaa signs 5yr
deal with Silvanus Records

ACTRESS CLARA
Amoateng Benson,
popularly known as
Maame Serwaa, has
signed a five-year
management deal
with Silvanus
Records, a newly established
multimedia
company.
At a short ceremony
in Accra to
brief the media about
the deal, officials
mentioned that the
actress, as part of the
contract, has been
given a car and a
house situated in the
capital city. According
to them, Maame
Serwaa has already
moved in and is expecting
admission
into the National
Films and Television
Institute for her tertiary
education.
Although both Silvanus
Records and
Maame Serwaa were
tight-lipped about
other details of the
contract such as the
amount given her,
Mark Tetteh, manager
of the actress
was sure the deal was
mouthwatering.
On what they intend
doing for the
starlet, Silvanus
Records said they intend
pushing her
brand so she gains
international recognition,
as well as excel
in all her endeavors.
