Walk the Hall Guides and Story Cards
New this season are Walk the Hall Guides to
augment the new, refreshed Nooks & Crannies
Tour. Also, collect all 8 story cards that tie into
this year’s theme: Health & Wellness: A Life
Well Lived. Cards may be collected by touring
the Manor House, engaging with staff and by
taking advantage of our geocaching and
questing activities on the grounds.

Pollinator Garden
Located between the Butterfly Habitat and the
Corbin Conservatory, the Pollinator Garden features
host plants (where insects lay eggs and larvae) and
pollinator plants, the food source (nectar) in the
flowers.

Stan Hywet has partnered with our friends at the
Cuyahoga Valley National Park and The Ohio &
Erie Canalway to create scavenger hunts called
“Canalway Quests” where guests of all ages follow
a series of clues to locate a hidden “treasure
box.”

may be found throughout the property by
using a hand-held GPS unit or smart phone app.

Stan Hywet’s Easter Egg Hunt is a tradition for
many. Bring your children ages 0-9 years to visit
the Easter Bunny and his friends before gathering
Easter eggs from the grounds! Snacks will
be provided along with storytelling with Mother
Goose in the Carriage House tent. Visit with
lambs from Yellow House Cheese. Self-guided
first floor Manor House tour included in admission
and available until 12:30pm. The estate
closes at 1 pm. Bring a basket to collect eggs
and dress for the weather!

Join Dr. Kristine Gill RN, PhD. on an interactive
journey throughout the Manor House (including
former domestic staff areas) and surrounding
gardens to discover the special features that
encourage health and overall well-being. This
specialty tour lasts approximately 2-2 ½ hours.
