“Fermerë me Pamje nga Deti” pati qëllim që të shqyrtonte gjendjen e turizmit në katër fshatra malorë të Rivierës Shqiptare-Pilur, Kudhës, Qeparo Fshat dhe Himarë Fshat- dhe t’i përgjigjej pyetjes përse këto fshatra janë indiferentë ndaj të ardhurave prej turizmit, ndërkohë që fshatrat përgjatë bregut kanë një vërshim të parasë. Synimi: nxitja e këtyre fshatrave drejt turizmit nëpërmjet ideve të ndjeshme, me kosto të ulet dhe me rezultat të shpejtë.

Village Store<br />
An obvious need in all the villages, and in the Riviera in general, is quality<br />
objects to buy as souvenirs. Only Saranda is doing this <strong>with</strong> real success,<br />
where they have an open market along the Lungo Mare. Tourists are<br />
desperately looking for small, inexpensive, objects to bring back ho<strong>me</strong> to<br />
their friends and family. Buying souvenirs is a mandatory activity for most<br />
tourists. And the more exotic the place is that one travels, the bigger the<br />
responsibility on the tourist to bring back so<strong>me</strong>thing special.<br />
To depend on just one store in the center of a village could be<br />
difficult to manage though, <strong>with</strong> maintaining supplies and redistributing<br />
profits. Why not have a distributed store, where any villager who wants<br />
to sell souvenirs can do so from their own ho<strong>me</strong>? This would encourage<br />
unique interactions for the tourist making the experience all the more<br />
fun, and it would encourage residents to create and sell interesting<br />
things. A small but recognizable sign could be placed outside the door<br />
of any resident participating in village store, making them identifiable to<br />
wandering tourists. Once spotted, a tourist would simply knock, and be let<br />
inside to have a look at the shelf!<br />
