ISOBEL IPPOLITO AND CODIE
Codie is Isobel Ippolito’s very own super-cob, she’s had him for 6 years
now and he’s definitely not going anywhere! He will turn his hoof to
anything like side-saddle or working equitation and takes it all in his
stride.

LIBBY HART AND POPPY
Libby Hart is currently competing at Elementary
level and moving up to Medium on her pony Poppy.
They’ve just won County Champion at the NSEA
County Challenge at Novice level and are off to the
Championships in April.
Libby is currently in the process of working hard to
qualify for the Summer Regionals and has also been
invited for a viewing for the U25 BD Youth County
team.
Her pony, Poppy, has been on long term lease to
Libby since November last year. Libby is just 11
years old and clearly going places.
He also is great for her novice mother, who did her first intro test a few
weeks ago. He really is part of the family. Isobel has learnt so much with
him, and now we are jumping 80-90cm and competing at elementary level.
She is aiming to affiliate and have a go at an unaffiliated medium this year,
and from that see where he takes them!

2018 has kicked off with a great start for
Jess and Buster by picking up their Royal
International Horse Show Pretty Polly
Heritage First Ridden ticket at their last
show of 2017, which was the BSPS Heritage
championship show.
The day started off with a very cold and
early start travelling down to Arena UK.
They had finished their individual show and
conformation and had tried their best, and
as the results were read out, the tension
was building up… the judge called out the
placings in reserve order. It was all down to
the last two ponies, Jess and another rider.
The judge called out 2nd place to the other
competitor which meant Jess and Buster
had won! They then went on to take Reserve
Mini Heritage Pretty Polly champion. As Jess
says “What a day, which I will remember
forever”.
SCARLETT MARSHALL AND BRYNFA JOLLY ROGER
12 yr old Scarlett Marshall riding the McClarence family’s own
Brynfa Jolly Roger, a 6 year old newly gelded Welsh cob. They
have had much success in-hand within the WPCS and are
looking forward to the junior season with Scarlett.
Wexland Dafydd Du is their 15 year old Welsh cob stallion
who will be contending in this year’s Veteran classes, a
multiple champion previously in working hunter and flat
classes, the family also await his foal this year out of Brynfa
Lucky Lucie. Scarlett will ride him once she turns 14.
