WASH BEFORE<br />

GOING TO SLEEP<br />

Before retiring, shower and<br />

shampoo your hair. During<br />

the daytime, your skin and<br />

hair may become covered<br />

with dust, pollen or spores,<br />

which makes you more likely<br />

to experience allergic symptoms<br />

during the night. Even if<br />

you only spend a few minutes<br />

in the shower, you will be doing<br />

yourself a great favor.<br />

GET RID OF DUST MITES<br />

It is impossible to avoid dust<br />

mites. As you can probably guess,<br />

these little guys are living throughout<br />

your bedding and pillows, making<br />

a meal of your dead skin flakes. To<br />

combat these nuisances, encase mattresses<br />

and pillows in special zippered<br />

mattress covers and pillow cases. You<br />

also need to wash your bedding in some<br />

hot water every week as that kills them.<br />
