WATCH OUT FOR
OUTDOOR POLLEN
Exercising outside can expose you to a lot
of pollen, so pick the right times to exercise.
Try going out in either the dawn or dusk
hours. Research indicates that these are
the best times, in regards to pollen count.
Make sure you keep a close eye on the
clock. Normally pollen comes out the most
from five to ten o’clock in the morning; do
not go outdoors at this time. If you absolutely
have to go out, keep the time and
limit your activity.
TAKE SOME ANTIHISTAMINE
You may have tried several different
allergy remedies, and assumed incorrectly
that there is no hope. There are other
allergy medications available, other than
oral medications. Just stop in at your local
mega-mart and you’ll find a wide range
of treatments like nasal sprays, Benadryl,
different cough and eye drops, and other
meds that are designed to treat all sorts
of allergies.
DEAL WITH THE SYMPTOMS
If you keep experiencing the same allergy symptoms, it may be easier to deal with
the symptoms rather than avoiding the allergic reaction. Ways to accomplish this are to
carry drops if your eyes are always dry, or wear a nose strip to bed every night if evening
congestion is a problem. The same goes for people who have a scratchy throat.
