Each day, Keene’s Crossing Elementary faculty members dress as rock stars to inspire students to “Rock the FSA.” Keene’s Crossing Elementary’s staff had a unique idea to inspire their students to perform well for the Florida Standards Assessments. They held a pep rally called “Rock the FSA.” Staff members and students dressed as rock stars to encourage the children to do their best. n Westbrooke Elementary students were introduced to a new Dr. Seuss book, which was followed by activities that went along with the book's theme. The daily books were Fox in Socks for Monday, The Cat in the Hat for Tuesday, Wacky Wednesday for Wednesday, One Fish, Two Fish for Thursday, and Green Eggs and Ham for Friday. The children were encouraged to wear clothes that also fit the theme of the Students and teachers at Westbrooke Elementary get into the “Seuss spirit” during Seuss Week. CONTINUED ON PAGE 36
