Westbrooke Elementary participated<br />
in Seuss Week to celebrate<br />
creativity and literature. Each day,<br />
Keene’s Crossing Elementary faculty members dress as rock stars to inspire students to<br />
“Rock the FSA.”<br />
Keene’s Crossing Elementary’s<br />
staff had a unique idea to inspire<br />
their students to perform well for the<br />
Florida Standards Assessments. They<br />
held a pep rally called “Rock the<br />
FSA.” Staff members and students<br />
dressed as rock stars to encourage<br />
the children to do their best.<br />
n Westbrooke Elementary<br />
students were introduced to a new<br />
Dr. Seuss book, which was followed<br />
by activities that went along with<br />
the book's theme. The daily books<br />
were Fox in Socks for Monday, The<br />
Cat in the Hat for Tuesday, Wacky<br />
Wednesday for Wednesday, One<br />
Fish, Two Fish for Thursday, and<br />
Green Eggs and Ham for Friday. The<br />
children were encouraged to wear<br />
clothes that also fit the theme of the<br />
Students and<br />
teachers at Westbrooke<br />
Elementary get into the<br />
“Seuss spirit” during<br />
Seuss Week.<br />
