KNSS Mahila Convention 2018 & Mega Thiruvathira:
The Secretary read out the Invitation card received from the
Board for Mahila Convention to be held on 18.3.2018. The
matter was discussed in the meeting and our full support
was guaranteed. Also decided to contribute Rs. 10,000/- for
the Convention.
Mannam Memorial Hall: Shri. Lakshmanan briefed about
MMH matters. He informed that the stand which is getting
ready for placing the bust of Shri. Mannathu Padmanabhan
at Mannam Memorial Hall.
New Membership : The committee approved the
following new memberships a) Mr. G.Mukunthan. b) M r.
K.Mohandass. c) Mr. Ranjith Kumar V.
Jayadhara, Yuvadhara & Navadhara matters were discussed
in the meeting. The meeting concluded after refreshment
and vote of thanks by Joint Treasurer Mr. Pradeep Kumar
followed by National Anthem.
Vivek nagar
The Executive Committee meeting of the Karayogam
was held on 11th March 2018 Sunday at Karayogam
office. Meeting was presided over by Karayogam President
Sri.K.N.Jayakrishnan. Meeting started with prayer by our EC
members Smt.Thangamani S Kurup and Smt. Saraswathi.
Acharya vandanam recital was by Secretary. Secretary
readout the EC meeting minutes of February meeting which
was passed by the house. As Treasurer Sri.K.C.Sukumaran
could not attend the meeting, presentation of accounts for
the month of February was deferred.
Mahila Convention: House discussed about Mahila
Convention as main agenda. Karayogam Mahila Vibhag
President Smt. S Thangamani S Kurup said that more than 24
Mahila members will participate in the mega “Thiruvathira”
from our Karayogam. Transportation will be arranged to
attend the function to and fro for the members. Vehicle will
start from Ejipura through Anepalayam to the destination.
House decided to pay Rs.5,000/- towards contribution for
the Mahila convention. The amount was contributed by EC
members.
House decided to conduct Karayogam Annual General
Body Meeting on 20th May 2018 at Karayogam office.
Secretary readout a letter received from KNSS Board
regarding the Kelikottu programme meeting which will
be held at Ashraya International Hotel during March 2018
participating sponsors for the programme. Secretary said that
Rs.600/- per year should be collected from all the members
by area EC members, towards annual subscription.
WHITEFIELD
The Executive Committee meeting of the Karayogam was
held on 11th March at the Karayogam office Mahila Vibhag
members were also present in the meeting. Karayogam
President presided over the meeting and informed the house
that there was a review conducted on AGT 2018 - Drishya
Vismayam celebrations. All the participants of cultural
programs were acknowledged for their contributions to
the Mega event. He said that the next focus is on new
membership drive for which programs will be charted out
in co-ordination with our Mahila Vibhag.
There are series of programs envisaged to be organized
namely Vishu Celebrations, theme based monthly Mahila
Vibhag meetings etc. Initiatives for formation of Youth
Wing to strengthen the process of organizing events and
Karayogam activities is also in the offing.
KNSS Vivahakendra :- It has been decided to help members
who require guidance for registration in our marriage portal
KNSS Vivahakendra. Members can contact Karayogam
Committee Office Bearers or can come down to Karayogam
office during weekends i.e., Saturdays and Sundays in the
evening at 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with details and there will be
people to assist them at our office. We would request all
our interested members to make use of this facility offered.
Carity Initiative:- We wish to inform that those interested
to donate clothes and stationary items can contact us. Please
deliver the items to our Karayogam office. In turn we will
hand over the same to identified charity organizations.
