Trust Meeting: Monthly Trust Meeting was held on<br />
17.02.<strong>2018</strong> at MMET School. Since the president<br />
Mr. O.V.P Nambiar was not present, Mr. R. Mohan<br />
Das, Vice President, MMECT presided over the<br />
meeting. The following decisions were taken during<br />
the meeting:-<br />
1) 10% fees hike for both the schools for the academic<br />
year <strong>2018</strong> -19. 2)To fix the salary of Teachers and Staff<br />
in a systematic manner for the next year with a clear<br />
vision on the subject. 3)To collect the outstanding fees<br />
in a systematic way before closure of the academic<br />
year. 4) It was decided to float tender for construction<br />
of New School building at RS Palaya.<br />
Scouts & Guides founders Day: was celebrated<br />
on 22.02.<strong>2018</strong> at school Auditorium with Scouts<br />
and Guides Flag hoisting by the Flag Leader Mast.<br />

H.M. Scouts Master and Guides Captain spoke on<br />
the occasion.<br />
National Science Day: was observed at the school<br />
Silver Jubilee Auditorium on 28.02.<strong>2018</strong>. Students from<br />
V – X Std displayed a wonderful science show. The<br />
MMECT Officials visited the venue and appreciated<br />
the effort and ideas of both the students and teachers.<br />
The Officials in their remark told that maximum possible<br />
support and infrastructure will be provided for the<br />
students and teachers to refresh and develop their<br />
innovative ideas and thoughts.<br />
Visit to Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore:<br />
MMET school arranged an educational visit to the<br />
prestigious IISc Bangalore for 46 students and 3<br />
teachers on 10.03.<strong>2018</strong>. Mr. R. Mohan Das, Vice<br />
President MMECT arranged the visit on the opening<br />
Day. As per students and teachers who visitted,<br />
the campus is located in a vast area with amazing<br />
infrastructure which they enjoyed a lot. They expressed<br />
their sincere gratitude to the management especially<br />
to Mr.R.Mohan Das.<br />
Graduation Day : Graduation Day for the year 2017 -18<br />
for the SSLC students of MMET & <strong>KNSS</strong> Vidyamandir<br />
was conducted at the School Silver Jubilee Auditorium<br />
on 14.03.<strong>2018</strong>. The graduating Boys and Girls were<br />
looking gorgeous in their graduation costumes and it<br />
was an eye catching display. All the SSLC students<br />
received the treasure of Knowledge in the form of flame<br />
from the school Principal Mrs. Shakila Rani and took<br />
solemn pledge of Graduation. The graduating and<br />
out going students shared their views, experience,<br />
good & bad moments and thanked the management,<br />

Teachers, Non Teaching Staff and other students. The<br />
celebration started with lighting traditional lamp by the<br />
dignitaries. Teaching & Non-teaching staff from both<br />
the schools, IXth Std Students and parents in large<br />
number were present on the occasion. The graduating<br />
batch of students have donated a sum of Rs. 9300/-for<br />
purchasing a podium for the School Auditorium Dias.<br />

Graduating girls and shirts for the boys, Teachers, Staff<br />
and Trust Office Bearers. Symbolic mementos were<br />
presented to the Graduating students by teachers and<br />
junior students. The function concluded with vote of<br />
thanks by Kum. Shirisha. M and Charulatha of X Std.<br />
SSLC examination 2017 - 18: will be commencing<br />
from 23.03.<strong>2018</strong>. 113 students form MMET &<br />
Vidyamandir are appearing for the SSLC Exams.<br />
This year also the Education Dept has allotted SSLC<br />
Centre to MMET School. Around 250 students from<br />
surrounding schools are appearing for the exam and<br />
exam will continue till 06.04.<strong>2018</strong>.<br />
School closes for summer vacation from 07.04.<strong>2018</strong><br />
after the SSLC exam. However, School office will<br />
function from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on all working<br />
days.<br />

was distributed to 92 most deserving students including<br />
fees concession from MMECT.<br />
