JAYAMAHAL
Monthly meeting of our E.C. members was held on
11thMarch at our service centre. 19 members were present.
Meeting started with prayer and Acharyasmarana. One
minute silent prayer was observed in memory of Mrs.
Sreedevi, noted film actress, who expired at Dubai. Minutes
and accounts of the month were presented and passed during
the meeting. Agenda discussed included Mahila Convention
on 18th March, Kelikottu 2018 on 9th and 10th of June. Mr.
Ramachandran Paleri, Chairman thanked the Karayogam for
hosting the Board meeting on a grand scale. He informed
about the inauguration of “Jakkur” Karayogam on 30th
March. He also informed that preliminary preparations are
in progress for the smooth conduct of “Kelikottu 2018”.
Finding out Sponsors to augment finance for the programme
is naturally, getting the top most priority. House discussed
about arranging a 50 seater Deluxe bus from R.T.Nagar for
members to attend Mahila Convention programme on 18th
afternoon. Mr. P. Krishnan Nambiar, gave a brief report
about Samskarikavedi and the plan to start a Music troupe
for KNSS and also about Malayalam classes under progress
in different Karayogams.
House agreed to donate Rs.10,000/- as expenditure for
Mahila Convention.
Jayanagar
The EC meeting of the Jayanagar Karayogam was held
on 11 March 2018 at Karayogam Office presided by Mr.
Sreenivasan. During the meeting EC evaluated the activities
of the Karayogam. The project to get Kaveri water is in
progress.
New Members: Mrs Geetha of Ballekkahalli and Mr
Sanjeev Sreedharan of N S Palya were admitted to the
Karayogam. We welcome these new members.
Obituary : 1) Smt Indira Amma of Bellandur passed away
recently. She is closely related to Shri V Gopinathan life
member from Koramangala. 2. Shri Sankara Narayanan
Nair (93) passed away on 7/3/18. He is the father in law of
our member Mr Muraleedharan Nair, Kudremukh colony,
Koramangala. May their souls rest in peace.
EC had a general discussion on having a youth wing so
that various programmes can be initiated. There was also a
proposal to have a family meeting at least once in a quarter.
EC also briefed about the recently concluded Wayanad trip
for the information of members who could not join the trip.
Kothanur
Monthly EC meeting for the Karayogam was held at
Karayogam office at 6 p.m on 11th March 2018. President
Mr Radhakrishnan welcomed all members. Minutes for
the month of February was read by Secretary Mr Arunlal
