Blasting the bomb, Number games, passing the ball etc.<br />
were organized. Children, Women & elders from 6 years<br />
to 78 years of age participated in the games. Then we had<br />
cutting of home made cake (baked by Mrs. Dhanya) by<br />
office bearers and executive members followed by snacks,<br />
like neyyappam by Mrs. Shyamala, unniappam by Mrs.<br />
Suja, onion pakavada by Mrs. Ullekha Sunil, bonda by Mrs.<br />
Susheela, avil mixture and juice by Mrs. Sujatha Pradeep,<br />
tea by Mrs. Rekha Nair, sweets by Mrs. Seetha and chips by<br />
Mrs. Mini Rajesh. After enjoying the snacks, we had prize<br />
distribution. The gifts were sponsored and given away by<br />
President Mrs. Sujatha Pradeepan. The winners were Mrs.<br />
Dhanya, Mrs. Seetha, Mrs. Darshana, Mrs. Sujatha, Mrs.<br />
Anamika and Mrs. Ullekha Sunil. Women's day was full of<br />
fun and enjoyed by all.<br />
Sixteenth monthly Executive Committee meeting: After<br />
the programme we had our Sixteenth monthly Executive<br />
Committee meeting presided over by President Mrs.<br />
Sujatha Pradeepan. The February month meeting report<br />
was unanimously approved. This year, around 40 people<br />
had participated in Pongala from our Karayogam. Mega<br />
Thiruvathira practice is in full swing. Our Karayogam<br />
donated Rs.2,000 towards Mahila Convention. An<br />
advertisement of Rs.5,000 was given by Tarangini President.<br />
President thanked Mrs. Deepa for donating Rs.200 towards<br />
Tarangini. President attended Mahila Core committee<br />
meeting on 24th Feb.<br />
New Membership: Membership of Smt. Dhanya Menon<br />
of Janapriya apartment, Allalasandra was approved.<br />
It was decided to distribute Kanikonnapoo on 14th April on<br />
the eve of Vishu. Tarangini's next meeting will be on 14th<br />
April. The meeting concluded at 7 p.m with vote of thanks.<br />
Tarangini wishes all the readers a 'Happy Vishu'.<br />

‘Yuva’ members participated in the ‘Swacham 2 K18’<br />
programme in cleaning the road and painting the walls of<br />
under bridge near Banasavadi Railway Station on 11-3-18.<br />
VIJAYANAGAR<br />
E C Meeting was held at 6 p.m. on 11-3-<strong>2018</strong> at Karayogam<br />
Office.12 Members were present. The meeting started at 7<br />
p.m. President Sri. Akhilesh presided over the meeting and<br />
welcomed all members with warm greetings after prayer<br />
and Acharya vandanam. In the absence of Secretary, Joint<br />
Secretary Mr. Roshan updated Youth Wing Core Committee<br />
matters. Mahila Convention <strong>2018</strong> and Mega Thiruvathira:<br />
EC unanimously appreciated Mahila Vibhag ‘Vijayashree’<br />
for initiating, planning and co-ordinating their members for<br />
“Mega Thiruvathira.”<br />
Malayalam and Kannada Classes: EC congratulated<br />
Karayogam for initiating action to start Malayalam and<br />
Kannada classes. In this regard it was decided to inform<br />

all the members in the Karayogam through different mode<br />
of communication.<br />
Discussions were held about proposed Kelikottu <strong>2018</strong> which<br />
will be held in June <strong>2018</strong>.<br />
Shuttle Tournament: The EC congratulated Youth Wing<br />
members who participated in the Shuttle Badminton<br />
Tournament organized by Vimanapura Karayogam on 4th<br />
<strong>March</strong> <strong>2018</strong>. EC congratulated the winning and participating<br />
teams of Shuttle Badminton Tournament.<br />
Celebrations: Youth Wing celebrated Mannam Jayanthi<br />
with deserving importance. Vivekananda Jayanthi was<br />
celebrated as National Youth day on 12th January by<br />
Lakshyam.<br />
EC appreciated the <strong>KNSS</strong> Samskarikavedi programme and<br />
<strong>KNSS</strong> Website.<br />
Lakshyam planned to organize a get together of all wings<br />
at Vijayanagar. EC prime members will chart the event. It<br />
was decided to have monthly EC meeting on first Saturday<br />
evening of every month.<br />
The meeting ended after the vote of thanks by the Jt.<br />
Treasurer.<br />

The Executive Committee meeting of the Yuvadhara was<br />
held at 4:30 p.m. on 11th <strong>March</strong>’<strong>2018</strong> at Karayogam Office<br />
(MMH). Yuvadhara President, Mr. Pramod Shantakumar<br />
welcomed the members. Yuvadhara Team decided to take<br />
part in upcoming “Mahila Convention” on 18th <strong>March</strong>.<br />
Committee discussed about increasing the strength of youth<br />
in Karayogam by adding new members. Meeting ended with<br />
vote of thanks by Secretary.<br />
