The Little River Giant Country Bumpkin Pumpkin Festival<br />

is on Sunday, 11am-3pm, at Awa-iti Domain. This annual<br />

event is a fun-filled afternoon for the whole family in a<br />

gorgeous country setting. Entertainment includes music<br />

and dance, children’s races, gumboot throwing, bottle stalls<br />

and chocolate wheels, country stalls and sideshows, food<br />

– especially the famous Little River pumpkin soup – and<br />

some amazing pumpkins. There will be prizes for all pumpkin<br />

classes and competitions.<br />
