What is a prayer you’ve had answered?

When I was in college, there was a moment when I was
on a beach trip and one morning while doing my quiet time
I asked The Lord “Will you use me?” That same instance
The Lord asked me to get up and go into the ocean.
As I stood there He said “Pray that the waves will stop
breaking and become calm.” I began to pray, and in the
middle of my prayer, as my eyes were closed, everything
went quiet. I opened my eyes and right where I stood the
water was stagnant, calm, and around me the waves were
breaking onto the shore. I know that the Lord heard me
that morning and in that moment I knew He wanted to
use me. What stuck with me the most that day is that the
Lord does hear our prayers and supplication! Amen!

Just a few months ago, I was in a tough spot feeling as
though I wasn’t growing or thriving spiritually or physically
in my day-to-day work life or in my relationships. Deep in
my heart I knew that the Lord had more he wanted to do
in and through me. After I began praying over those things
and seeking the Lord’s will in those thoughts and desires it
wasn’t long before I was presented with an incredible
opportunity to step into a position with the worship
ministry at Pinelake Church. Music has always been a huge
part of my life, but through this process I have actually
sensed the Lord calling to ministry on my life. I’ve embraced
new, encouraging relationships along the way and seen the
Lord strengthen my current ones through this. Looking
back today, I can clearly see the Lord’s hand over all of it.
