training is meant to provide participants with
the knowledge about cloud computing and
storage as many organizations look at using this
service based technology for cost savings.
Though it would be good that participants have
some experience in IT-related services
environment, staff across the government in any
ICT role can take this training.
CompTIA Cyber Security Analyst (CSA+)
Description: This training will provide the
critical knowledge and skills required by
security analysts, vulnerability analysts, cyber
security specialists, threat intelligence analysts,
and security engineers to apply behavioral
analytics to improve the overall state of IT
security, prevent, detect and combat cyber
security threats.
Target Audience: This training targets ICT
jobs in the F03 family.
Requirements and Qualifications: It would be
good for participants to have some knowledge of
networks and IT security. The Network+ and
Security+ training are good pre-requisites for
this training.
CompTIA Cloud+
Description: This training help to develop skills
in cloud computing and visualization. This
training will help build capabilities to implement
and maintain cloud technologies as well as
networking, storage, data center administration,
and hypervisor technologies for server and
storage visualization.
Target Audience: Staff working in the F01,
F03, and F05 ICT Job Families are good
CISCO TRAINING AND
CERTIFICATIONS
Cisco training will primarily be for the ICT
infrastructure and network security related Job
Families. While it is good to look at training
that are not vender-based, some of the training
available are vendor-oriented and will still be
able to cover the topic areas of interest. The
following highlight Cisco training recommended
for the competencies required by the
government.
