<strong>ICT</strong> <strong>Training</strong> <strong>Catalogue</strong><br />

EC- Council provides these courses as instructor<br />
lead and online sessions. Individuals will<br />
participate in practical lab sessions using the EC-<br />
Council iLabs platform.<br />
Target Audience: The training provided by<br />
EC-Council targets the IT security. All <strong>ICT</strong> Job<br />
Families could participate in some <strong>of</strong> these<br />
training. For example, the EC-Council CSCU<br />
training should be taken by all <strong>ICT</strong> staff in the<br />
government. The EDRP training is appropriate<br />
for F07 Job Family responsible for working with<br />
other government or business unit to develop<br />
and manage business continuity. The F01, F02<br />
and F03 <strong>ICT</strong> Job Families are good candidates<br />
for aspects <strong>of</strong> the other EC-Council training.<br />
Requirements and Qualifications: Similar to<br />
other types <strong>of</strong> training described in this catalog,<br />
for advanced training <strong>of</strong>fered by EC-Council,<br />
prior networking or IT security skills may be<br />
required for participants to feel comfortable with<br />
the content and the level <strong>of</strong> complexity <strong>of</strong> the<br />
materials. The GoJ or the <strong>ICT</strong> Authority may<br />
need to review the skill sets and qualifications <strong>of</strong><br />
participants before enrolling individuals into<br />
some <strong>of</strong> these training.<br />
Information Systems Auditor (CISA) for<br />
individuals who will audit, control, monitor and<br />
assess information technology and business<br />
systems; Certified in Risk and Information<br />
Systems Control (CRISC) links IT risk<br />
management to enterprise risk management;<br />
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)<br />
for individuals who design, build, and manage<br />
enterprise information security programs;<br />
Certified in the Governance <strong>of</strong> Enterprise IT<br />
(CGEIT) which validates governance and<br />
strategic alignment skills based on individuals<br />
knowledge and experience. The Control<br />
Objectives for Information and Related<br />
Technologies (COBIT) is also useful particularly<br />
for job roles that are responsible for the<br />
management <strong>of</strong> technologies and related<br />
initiatives.<br />
Target Audience: This certification curriculum<br />
provides training content that would be helpful<br />
to those in the F03 and F07 <strong>ICT</strong> Job Families<br />
who are tasked with the role <strong>of</strong> auditing,<br />
monitoring, controlling and managing the IT<br />
security agenda for the government.<br />
Requirements and Qualifications: These<br />
training may require some knowledge and<br />
experience in designing, auditing, and managing<br />
IT security activities.<br />
ISACA TRAINING AND<br />
CERTIFICATIONS<br />
ISACA <strong>Training</strong><br />
Description: The Information Systems Audit<br />
and Control Association (ISACA) provide<br />
certification curriculum in IT audit, security,<br />
governance, and risk. <strong>Training</strong> covering the<br />
content for the following ISACA certifications<br />
will be very useful to the GoJ: Certified<br />
PMI TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS<br />
Project Management <strong>Training</strong><br />
Description: In addition to the CompTIA<br />
Project+ training, the Project Management<br />
Institute (PMI) is recognized for developing<br />
qualified project management pr<strong>of</strong>essionals.<br />
While the PMI provide several training<br />
curriculum in project management, the<br />
