ICT Training Catalogue analyst, director of security, and network architect. Requirements and Qualifications: Professionals with 5 years of experience are suitable to take on this type of training. CISSP Specialization Training Description: There are three specialization areas for the CISSP. These include 1) Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP); 2) Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP); and 3) Information Systems Security Management Professional (ISSMP). Government organizations of today need solutions that can meet the increasingly complex information security requirements to better protect IT assets across large enterprises. The security professionals taking ISSAP specialized training will exhibit the skills that not only provide high functional security solutions but also the ability to effectively implement security programs. ISC2 and the National Security Agency (NSA) collaborated in creating contents for training in ISSEP. Training relating to this certification will therefore provide IT staff with the ability to apply security engineering principles into the business process they support as the content includes industry best practices and methodologies. Participants who take the ISSMP related training will cultivate skills in areas of security project management and planning; designing continuity, resiliency, and response plans; and developing and implementing security awareness and training programs within the government. Target Audience: ICT staff tasked with specialized roles to design, architect, engineer, and manage the implementation of information, data, and network security solutions such as those in the F01, F02, F03, F06 and F07 ICT Job Families. Requirements and Qualifications: The specialized or CISSP concentrations are usually easier accepted if participants have at least 2 years of industry experience and completed the general CISSP training. EC-COUNCIL TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS EC-Council Training Description: The EC-Council has several certification training programs that can provide introductory to advance training for networking and IT security personnel for the GoJ. Some of the courses that are relevant to this training catalog and to the objectives of the government include Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) for IT security management; Certified Network Defender (CND); Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) for computer forensics; Certified Incident Handler (CIH) for computer security incident handling; Advanced Network Defense; Certified Encryption Specialist (ECES); Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH); Ethical Hacking Workshop; Certified Security Analyst (CSA) licensed pen tester for pen testing; Certified Secure Programmer .Net (CSP) for secure programming; Certified Secure Computer User (CSCU) for security awareness; Advanced Penetration Testing; and EC-Council Disaster Recovery Professional (EDRP) training that teaches individuals how to develop enterprise- 18
ICT Training Catalogue wide business continuity and disaster recovery plans. EC- Council provides these courses as instructor lead and online sessions. Individuals will participate in practical lab sessions using the EC- Council iLabs platform. Target Audience: The training provided by EC-Council targets the IT security. All ICT Job Families could participate in some of these training. For example, the EC-Council CSCU training should be taken by all ICT staff in the government. The EDRP training is appropriate for F07 Job Family responsible for working with other government or business unit to develop and manage business continuity. The F01, F02 and F03 ICT Job Families are good candidates for aspects of the other EC-Council training. Requirements and Qualifications: Similar to other types of training described in this catalog, for advanced training offered by EC-Council, prior networking or IT security skills may be required for participants to feel comfortable with the content and the level of complexity of the materials. The GoJ or the ICT Authority may need to review the skill sets and qualifications of participants before enrolling individuals into some of these training. Information Systems Auditor (CISA) for individuals who will audit, control, monitor and assess information technology and business systems; Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) links IT risk management to enterprise risk management; Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) for individuals who design, build, and manage enterprise information security programs; Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) which validates governance and strategic alignment skills based on individuals knowledge and experience. The Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT) is also useful particularly for job roles that are responsible for the management of technologies and related initiatives. Target Audience: This certification curriculum provides training content that would be helpful to those in the F03 and F07 ICT Job Families who are tasked with the role of auditing, monitoring, controlling and managing the IT security agenda for the government. Requirements and Qualifications: These training may require some knowledge and experience in designing, auditing, and managing IT security activities. ISACA TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS ISACA Training Description: The Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) provide certification curriculum in IT audit, security, governance, and risk. Training covering the content for the following ISACA certifications will be very useful to the GoJ: Certified PMI TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS Project Management Training Description: In addition to the CompTIA Project+ training, the Project Management Institute (PMI) is recognized for developing qualified project management professionals.
