OMANI’s Local Hero for April is
KXolile Mali of Ilinge.
In a motivating letter, Nceba
Msuthu of the Ilinge Victim Support
Centre said Mali worked with all in
the community via the support
centre, which is a
non-government
o r g a n i s at i o n
based in the
residential area
near Komani.
The main objective of the centre is
to protect people, particularly
women and children, against all
forms of abuse.
Msuthu said Mali “always goes the
extra mile in doing good for those in
need.
“He is a true community builder
who lends a helping hand to victims
of all kinds. As for all his efforts, we
must also consider that he is
unemployed and that he has been
sacrificing like this for years. Keep
up the good
work.”
