I was fairly me culous with my farm records. I started a book in 1976 that had all
the paddocks tabulated with each paddock shape drawn, loca on numbers, size of
dams how deep, etc, what size dozer built it. All the crop records, sprays used and
diagrams of parts sprayed and results of spray and crop yield, etc., and the fer liser
for each paddock was recorded since 1950.
This became a valuable source of informa on for not only the Agricultural department,
it also impressed bank managers. I used to say, even if you don’t know what
you are doing, it looks as though you do.
