J.A.P. van Oosten (1948), Chairman
Mr Van Oosten graduated as a civil engineer
from the Technical University of Delft in
1974. Mr Van Oosten joined BAM in 1976 as
a Planning Engineer, before becoming
Project Manager, Works Manager and
Project Implementation Manager. He was
appointed deputy director of BAM
Vastgoed in 1985 and director in 1986. His
appointment as director of BAM
Utiliteitsbouw followed in 1992. Mr Van
Oosten has been a member of the Executive
Board of Royal BAM Group since 1995. Mr
Van Oosten was appointed as chairman of
the Executive Board in 2005. He is a Dutch
national.

N.J. de Vries (1951), Vice-Chairman
Mr De Vries completed an architecture
foundation course in 1971. He went on to
earn a degree in civil engineering from the
Technical University of Delft in 1977. In 1977
Mr De Vries joined BAM as a planning
engineer, after which he held positions as
project manager, works manager and
branch director. In 1986 he was appointed
deputy director and in 1990 director of BAM
Utiliteitsbouw, followed in 1995 by his
appointment as sector director of Civil
Engineering for Royal BAM Group. Mr De
Vries has been a member of the Executive
Board of Royal BAM Group since 1998. He is
a Dutch national.

M.J. Rogers (1955)
Mr Rogers gained a higher National Diploma
in Building Studies at the Hertfordshire
College of Building. He is a Fellow of the
Chartered Institute of Building (FCIOB) and
a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers
(FICE). Mr Rogers started his career with a
medium-sized Hertfordshire-based
construction company. He then joined
Farrow Construction in 1977, before joining
BAM in 1979. Mr Rogers’ initial position was
planning engineer; he moved into contracts
management in 1981. He was appointed a
construction director in 1989 and regional
director in 1995. He was promoted to the
main board of BAM Construct UK in 2001
and became managing director in 2002. In
2007 he became CEO of BAM Nuttall Ltd. Mr
Rogers became a member of the Executive
Board of Royal BAM Group in 2009. He is a
British national.

J. Ruis (1950)
Mr Ruis joined BAM in 1971 and has held a
number of different financial positions.
Mr Ruis has been on Royal BAM Group’s
Executive Board since 2004 (Chief Financial
Officer). He is a Dutch national.
R.P. van Wingerden MBA (1961)
Mr Van Wingerden graduated as a civil
engineer from the Technical University of
Delft in 1988. He joined the Group as a
project surveyor in 1988 and subsequently
worked in a variety of (project)
management roles for operating companies
in the Netherlands and elsewhere. He was
appointed Director of HBG Bouw en
Vastgoed in 2000, and subsequently
became Director at BAM Utiliteitsbouw in
2002, prior to being appointed Chairman of
the Board of BAM Woningbouw in 2005.
Mr Van Wingerden has been an Executive
Board member since 2008. He is a Dutch
national.
