Ukraine, so the local Tebodin branch has shifted its main
focus to the public sector where it is involved in projects
for the European Union and the local government,
including for the European football championship in
2012.
Tebodin had a workforce of more than 800 in the Middle
East in 2009. The offices in Bahrain and Qatar have now
grown into medium-sized undertakings. In Qatar,
Tebodin won the contract for the detailed design of the
new Doha International Airport. The Tebodin branch in
Abu Dhabi – with its more than 400 employees – won a
prestigious contract for Gasco. PDO (the largest oil and
gas producer in Oman) awarded the detail engineering
contract for two pipelines to Tebodin Oman via EPC
contractor Petrojet. In addition, in Jeddah in Saudi
Arabia, Tebodin and the local company APIC LLC opened
a new branch office.
Tebodin’s network in Asia continues to develop. The
Indian branch is growing through projects both in the
Middle East and on the local market. Oil projects are in
progress locally for Reliance and ONGC. The office
concentrates on providing services to foreign investors
in the Indian market. New contracts were awarded by a
range of companies, including Heineken, Bunge and
DSM. Tebodin Vietnam is also working for the Bunge
agricultural group. Tebodin Vietnam is the newest
branch but is developing very well and now has
contracts for various large customers, including Procter
& Gamble.
