Are our kids reading?<br />
We kick-started <strong>2017</strong>-<strong>18</strong> with a big focus on reading, to<br />
ensure our kids have a strong literacy foundation<br />
Simultaneously, ‘<strong>Student</strong> Portfolios’ & ‘Fellow Portfolios’ were piloted to enable<br />
student-level monitoring and Fellow-level capture of a classroom’s journey towards<br />
more systematic knowledge management. Additionally, a September RC Dipstick<br />
helped situate interventions in most updated context.<br />
The ‘Love For Reading’ campaign was launched by <strong>Delhi</strong>’s brand new Teaching &<br />
Learning (T&L) vertical in partnership with Curriculum Advisors (CA’s) to accelerate<br />
reading growth. We recognized that RC was going to be a key enabler for kids to<br />
grow across all other subjects, especially in secondary grades.<br />
We also partnered with Genpact Social <strong>Impact</strong> Fellowship (GSIF) for a second year<br />
to streamline data collection, processing and analysis, enabling sharper insights and<br />
programmatic course corrections. Neha Kumari designed the Fellow Portfolios and<br />
ran analytics that strengthened interventions this past year.<br />
