A group of 31 Year 10 students have given up
their enrichment time since January to
complete a GCSE in Statistics. This journey
has not been an easy one, as the coursework
task that counts 30% towards their final grade,
is very demanding. Students finished their
coursework to a very high standard and
completed the course on 26th June by taking
their written assessment.
Thanks to the magnificent endeavour,
professionalism and aspiration shown over the
last six months, which included coming to
school over half term and staying late many
nights, they were rewarded during the last
enrichment session with a picnic and outdoor
activities. The weather was lovely, and
students and teachers had time to enjoy some
quiet time in the shade, as well as playing
rounders and other enjoyable games.
Mr Robinson and Ms Gallego could not be
prouder of them, as the resilience they showed
was above and beyond. Now… we just need to
wait until 23rd August to receive the results to
keep celebrating such a success!
